CAN I FIX IT... YES I CAN...
So.. sunday at church I was in the library getting some copies and maybe I was visiting with a few ladies (shhhhh....). One of the ladies, who i am really good friends with is one of the librarians. Because I am one of those people that cannot just sit there, or stand there and talk, I have to be holding something or doing something with my hands, I pick up the stapler. I notice it is broken. As I try to investigate she says (the librarian, not the stapler) "Yeah, that's broken, why dont' you fix it." *Light bulb ON* I can fix anything. "Okay. I can pretty much fix anything ya know". (That's a big fat lie, but I like to act like I can do anything) I proceed to further my investigation into the broken stapler- it's jammed. I start to look for something to pry the staple out, that is jamming the thing. I can't find anything. *wheels turning...wheels turning* AH HAH!!!! Scissors!!!! (Are you scared yet?) THOSE will DEFINITELY help. I try to pry out the staple. UNSUCCESSFUL! SO... I then taket he scissors to the end of the stapler try to pry open the cage. SUCCESS! It works. Instead of (like a smart person) opening it to see what is going on.. I proceed to try to staple something. It jams again. DANG IT!!! I take the scissors to it again. This time, I open it up and pull out the staples, re-insert them and close it- though not all the way... I hold the stapler and press the bottom middle part to see if it works again. THis is the part where smart intelligent Tahnee comes out of herself and insteps RETARD MORON Tahnee and I somehow forget to move my finger out from underneath where the staple staples. SOOOOOO... YOU KNOW IT! I staple my finger. Okay... I've never stapled my finger before. There was immediate BIG EYES while looking at my finger, then the quick 'Is anyone seeing this?' reaction, then I decide to pull it out calmly while no one has noticed, so I do... and immediately turn around to the group and say "Just so you know... for future reference... stapling your finger really doesn't hurt that bad. It's basically like a prick." They all bust up laughing while I grab a kleenex to absorb the blood. The funny part is it just felt like getting pricked when they test your blood. BUT... after about 3 hours and a DAY.. it hurts, and kind of swells and aches. Then it gets better. Just in case you have ever wondered what it's like to staple your finger. I'm pretty sure that sucker went about to the bone. GASP!
